There’s something to be said (or eaten).
The intersection of design and food: food styling, photography, and cooking of course, are culinary arts. I’m a graphic designer by trade, but I spend my “free time” in the kitchen. It’s a place where I get to be creative, but not in the way I am from 9-5. It’s challenging and relaxing and invigorating all at the same time. And the best part? Sharing it with others, whether it’s around the table with a glass of wine or around the world with a tap on Instagram. Cheers.
Places to Visit: Farine
My first time at this spot for croissants, coffee, pastries, and more on the Eastside in Redmond—Farine has inspired me with incredible food and I can’t wait to go back, especially for Eggs Benedict.
Places to Visit: Mr. West
A café and bar I could actually live in—and not just because the aesthetic is totally my style. This place has some of my favorite coffees, snacks, cocktails, and meals.
Places to Visit: DeLaurenti
At the entrance of Pike Place Market is one of the best places for cheese, pasta, meat, wine, sauces, oil, bread, jams, and more. Plus, they have unique takeout offerings.
Places to Visit: Mioposto
With four locations in the Seattle area, it feels great to be supporting local. Check out my favorite dishes—from brunch to happy hour!
Places to Visit: Spokane, Wash.
Perfect for a weekend trip, there’s always something new to discover in Spokane (and a few favorites I keep going back to).
