Now Brewing

A publication I worked on for over five years, Now Brewing is a Starbucks internal promotional magazine and a go-to resource for stores across North America. It’s a multi-purpose piece—serving to communicate promotional, operational, and storytelling content six times per year. It quickly became the most highly engaged barista communication tool in the company.

Given the unique content in each issue, and accounting for versions in different markets and languages, an outstanding structure was not only helpful to build—it was necessary. Over the years, the publication evolved with the brand and types of storytelling. It became priority to maintain consistency in the overall design language while finding ways to evolve every single issue and create space for creativity.
