Starbucks Internal Magazines

Objective

Design recurring internal publications for Starbucks stores across North America. Engage the barista to store manager audience, comprising total viewership of over 200,000. Account for versioning in different store types and language markets.

Solution
Build a design structure to support unique content in each issue, finding ways to maximize time efficiency while also dedicating space to bespoke storytelling and market localization.

I worked on design and production for these magazines for over five years, leading design through several editorial teams and internal communications strategies. Now, I art direct the digital internal storytelling channels that have replaced the print magazines.
