Photography depicts history and culture in this personal project. The concept is to show areas in and around Cleveland, Ohio that are deemed abandoned, run-down, or desolate, yet communicate them as places of grandeur that maintain a sense of heritage.
The photos show viewers that the places shown no longer exist in the way they were intended. For locals, this can trigger emotions and memories tied to physical places. Supporting typographic elements reinforce the main objective and help the viewer relate more easily with satire.
